Who we are:
The Rockland County Hispanic Law Enforcement Organization, Inc. (RCHLEO) was founded in the year 2020. The Fraternal Organization's membership is comprised of active and retired Law Enforcement personnel of the Hispanic heritage. Our members reside or are employed within the Rockland, Putnam, Westchester, and Orange Counties including New York City.
The men and women who make up the Organization are a dedicated group who collectively have been serving their respective departments and communities for many years. Many of our members are bilingual and have played an integral role in Law Enforcement as our communities have become more diverse.
RCHLEO tries to foster relationships with community-based organizations or individual groups in the Rockland and surrounding counties, including New York City that provide services, not only to Hispanic people in their community but to "ALL" people.
Our Mission:
RCHLEO offers multiple annual scholarships to graduating seniors of Hispanic descent (at least one parent must be Hispanic) attending a high school in Rockland and surrounding counties (including New York City), who plan to attend a two or four-year college and pursue a community-based career in Law Enforcement or a related field.
Additionally, RCHLEO tries to foster relationships with community-based organizations or individual groups in Rockland that provide services, not only to Hispanic people in their community but to all people of Rockland and surrounding counties (including N.Y.C.),
We partner with, participate in and support several local organizations, charities, and programs.
